Position reports are sent only when the unit is set in motion and stops
after it comes to a stop of 5
minutes or more. The system reports only if it's location has changed.
Rover TT-100
Operates
off battery pack.
Reports on a predetermined
schedule of 5, 10, 15, 20 minutes,
hourly, daily, or if set, only when motion is detected. Reporting schedule
can be
changed online. Easy online geo fencing
Rover TT-200
Is the conversion
of the TT-100 operating off Vehicle power
using the "optional VAM"
with
a built in backup battery pack. This conversion makes
the Rover TT-200 Pingable. " You can call the unit for an immediate position
report".
Monthly cost: $12.00, includes mapping and
GSM SMS service per month.
$0.12 cents per location report.

The AVL (VAM)
can be purchased as a option for the TT-100, changing it to the
TT-200 but it can only
be used as a VAM
unit after provisioning and conversion.
The TT-100 can
be used with a VAM, for vehicle power only, without using batteries if the
provisioning
is not changed.
